Leawood Forest Football Club has officially announced that The Barstow School’s newly renovated soccer-specific turf field will serve as their home stadium for the 2025 season. With this move, the club is set to offer an enhanced match-day experience for players and fans alike.
State-of-the-Art Facilities and Evening Kickoffs
The Barstow School’s field features high-quality artificial turf designed specifically for soccer, providing a professional playing surface for the club. Additionally, the venue is equipped with stadium lights, allowing Leawood Forest to schedule all home matches for a consistent 7:30 PM kickoff. This later start time ensures a cooler, more enjoyable environment for both players and spectators during warm-weather months.
New Amenities at Foster Athletic Center
The completion of new construction at Barstow has also introduced the Foster Athletic Center, which will provide match-day concessions and an outdoor patio for fans to enjoy. The stadium also boasts ample bleacher seating to accommodate the growing Leawood Forest supporter base.
Match-Day Experience and Ticketing
Leawood Forest is dedicated to making match days as engaging as possible. Each match will also feature a 50/50 raffle, with tickets available at $2 each or 12 for $20.
