Olathe's Football Club
Olathe United Football Club is the newest club to join the Select League. While much is to be determined for the club such as home field, ownership and manager, it will be ready to play in the upcoming inaugural 2024 season of the Select League.
Olathe United crest features a bison head as a link to the area's strong midwestern roots when the powerful animal used to roam the plains in the millions.
Ownership
Olathe United is following a slightly different path from the other established clubs. All other clubs until OUFC have been formed by their current ownership. OUFC, is being formed by the League first and setting up a base in order to attract potential ownership. Whomever decided to take control of the club will already have a name, crest, colors, website and kit designs already done for them. This "turnkey" club will only need to find a manager, recruit players and secure a home pitch besides maintaining the already built website.
Website
Until an owner or ownership group take possession of OUFC, the club will begin operating as any of the other clubs. The club will be taking applications for a manager and other coaches along with various other administrative positions such as Director of Media and Gameday Director.
